India's Independence day

Today is the 64th anniversary of the day when the whole world slept and India woke up to freedom. 64th anniversary of the day for which countless civilians, soldiers, men, women, and children alike sacrificed their lives to show India this bright day.The time when we honour, commemorate, and remember all noble deeds of each and every person who was a part of the independence struggle, in their own corner of the world. We salute them, pray for them and are grateful to them. Thank all families whose husband, children or wives willingly laid down their lives to enable us to be a part of a free India. The martyrs are all in our hearts, for not even one of them will go unremembered, unthanked and forgotten. They will live on forever, in every part of the country, from the crooks to the corners, they ARE and WILL be saluted everyday. Thanks to all heroes from Gandhi ji, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, to the unsung ones, who have brought us here to face a future like this, where we have a choice, we have rights, opinions, a say. Equality and justice shall prevail.
